Hi,

I have a problem with Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. I'd like to play the game with original English voices while keeping my native language text translations. There seems to be no option in-game to do that. Do you know how can I use English V/O with different language text?

Never mind, I figured it out myself.

Is there a solution, then? Why not share it with us?

Of course, here are the steps I did:

1) Navigate to Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition installation directory
2) Find and open "lang" folder
3) Open "en_US" folder and copy "movies" and "sounds" folders
4) Open "pl_PL" folder, paste and overwrite folders copied from "en_US"
5) Delete "data" and "override" folders in "pl_PL" folder
6) Enjoy original English voice acting and Polish text (or other language text*)

*It will work for any other desired language that has forced non-English voices, so perhaps players who want to play with English voice acting and their native language text translations will find this helpful.

I would just want to note that the reverse seems to not be possible. English text strings with Polish audio. I am currently investigating if this is possible in any way.
