When you read the title of this topic you might have thought that It was a joke or I was playing with you, indeed, how exactly is this Legendary PC game in any way related to the Playstation?

However it is true - Baldur's gate was on the PS1, it just was never officially released

The game and the port was virtually finished but for whatever reasons unknown - did not make it to retail, HOWEVER very very few copies of the games on the PS1 were produced

One of those copies were bought by an American collector for a 4 Digit dollar sum and he has enjoyed his copy for many years, however recently the game had a 10 year anniversary, and this collector decided to give out gamers a present - and he uploaded the game online

The game is spread out on 3 disks, there are HUGE loadtimes, the resolution is poor, the graphics are much worse than the pc version - But the game is playable, from start to finish

Just so you know, there is a small problem with the disk changing, the game does not ask to save your progress before disk changing, so just keep that in mind

The download links are broken. I hope I didn't just give my computer a virus or anything by clicking them. In any case, it's fairly clear that if someone were to want to find these ROMs, they would probably be readily available now.

I heard of this several years ago, and think it's legitimate. But my question is WHY? It's much uglier than the PC version, and can't be patched or modded.
