In my second playthrough, and i am still troubled that none knows or records, where can i find some of the highest level spells in the game (level 4 and 5). Specifically, Polymorph Other, Animate Dead, Cone of Cold, and Shadow Door. None seems to know where or how to acquire them, vendors do not sell them, loots have not dropped them (at least in my previous playthrough), and i am both puzzled and confused, especially by the fact that none knows!

So, can someone tell with confidence, where, how, or IF are these 4 elusive scrolls, able to be acquired, in Tales of the Sword Coast expansion and BG1 areas of the game?

Given the way you play, why not just edit your characters so that they'd have every spell in the game?

Otherwise I dunno the answer... though I am aware that some spells were only available in BG 2 or BG EE.

I agree with Heindrich88 regarding the way you approach this game.

Thanks for the list. Regrettably, i cannot find the 4 spells i am missing, because they are in the not available. But you have 1 small mistake. Improved Invisibility is sold from the fat bartender at Ulgoth's Beard. I have bought it.
