Hello fellow gamers,

I've just bought Baldur's Gate here on Good Old Games, and installed it on my computer.
Everything seems to work besides some sound issues.
The footsteps, character sounds and movie "talking" isn't working.
I've got music and ambient sounds.

Any one else who's got these issues and know how to fix'em ?

Thanks,

Best regards,
Martin

Have you tried to disable/enable (depending on the current setting) the environmental sound effects in the sound menu?:

Lemon_Curry is right, try disabling EAX and check if it makes a difference. Windows changed it's sound handling in newer versions and hardware sound acceleration is no longer supported by default. However, there are some projects from sound chip providers to bring these old features back. Depending on your sound card there might be a chance to get it working with one of those tools.
