For a while now I've had this annoying glitch : at random intervals, the game seems to think I've pressend all keys on my keyboard and as such quicksaves, pauses, opens the inventory, etc. all at once. I've searched the web for any information regarding this glitch but I seem to be the only one who has ever experienced it.

Here's all the information regarding my problem that I can think of right now :
-So far, it affects all Infinity Engine games that I've played on this computer, namely Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2 and Baldur's Gate 2 (easy Tutu installation)

-Only common things between the games : they use the same engine and i've installed the widescreen mod on all of them

-It really is keyboard events, because if I disable a quick key, the function that was associated with that key won't trigger anymore (quicksave followed immediately by quickload in IWD was really annoying)

-Quicksave always happens before rest, which means the keyboard events are always being sent in the same order

-All functions don't always trigger. I'm not sure if this is because the game can't register so many keyboard inputs at once or if it's just that not all keys are always being sent.

-It seems to happen more frequently when there are many enemies moving about and fighting me. The more busy the AI is, the more likely the glitch will happen.

-So far, it has never happened when I left the game paused and unattended for long periods of time

At some point, I tought it could have been some process in the background sending random keyboard events, but if that was the case, something similar would probably happen in other games too. As far as I know, only things I have running in background are : the free version of Online Armor, Microsoft security essentials, NVIDIA's control panel and 2 services related to SQL server.

It's not game breaking, but it's really annoying (and could potentially mess up my quicksaves), so any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I'll try running the game in a window, see if it changes something.

Edit:
Apparently, I haven't searched enough and other people have experienced similar problems before : http://www.bioware.com/games/shadows_amn/support/faq/index.html?faqID=40#1.08

Problem is, none of the suggestion in the FAQ seem to apply to me. I know it's not a stuck key, my keyboard is as standard as they make em these days, and is plugged in the PS2 port through an adapter, reboot doesn't fix it, no USB hub, no SysTray multimedia keyboard software and I've already taken care of non-essential software running in background. All that's left is to try another keyboard, but I don't have one. Well, I do, but it's kinda half-dead and some keys on it don't work anymore.

Anybody got some other suggestions/ideas?

2nd Edit:

After some testing, it seems that Online Armor is the culprit. After shutting it off completely I was able to play over 8 hours without issues. I'm guessing this behaviour is related to Online Armor's protection against keyloggers, but shutting off the anti-keylogger features doesn't fix the problem, I have to shut down OA completely.

Guess I'll have to close my internet connection and firewall anytime I want to play an IE game. Either that or use another firewall.
