I reached out on Steam too, a couple months back. You the Dev said something about the keybinds getting messed up per the latest Patch or something. Months ago now.
All I know is I chose to move my install from an older rig to a newer one, and not One single change that I make will stay.
I'm not even sure if the general settings can be changed successfully at this point. I honestly cannot recall.
What I do know is I went from ENjoying this game because I couple key it the way I like to - to be forced to play using the W,A,S, and D keys.... with Q, and E being the icing on the cake.
I noticed the drop down menu for Switch and PS4 and all the other Supports for control, and the damn keyboard maps will NOT Respond to changes.
Please FIX it will you?

***EDIT*** Today's date is Feb 18, 2024. Eight Days Later (with no comment btw) Where is the Dev on this ?
I did a little digging, through my notes and post and found the reply that was given to me on Steam.
This was only a few months ago at most. I asked there about this failure of the game to accept key-bind changes and was told specifically that version 1.190 was bugged but that the fix had been made, but to wait for the next update? What happened? Where is the Update to fix this please? Thank you )
