Can't seem to fix this graphical problem. If someone is burned, they emit a blue fire. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a red/orangey color instead. Any know a workaround to this? And should I install Directplay?

Directplay is an older way of achieving multiplayer. It was distributed with some older Direct X versions. It can't harm to have it installed, as an old game enthusiast there will be a point where this will prompt up again if you don't do it now.

I have no idea about the fire tho. I can imagine that, since it's a chemical sort of fire, the designers chose that color. Trees for example burn orange.

All of my army men have been long since lost. Anyone have an extra they can set on fire and then tell us what color the flame is?

Ok thanks for the info.

Btw, in regards to burning, on the GOG page, 4th picture, it shows people getting burned with red/orange color. I knew I wasn't going crazy! I haven't played this game in over 15 years and I knew they burned in that color. I wonder if it has something to do with 16-bit/32-bit color settings.

This video shows blue fire in the CD version as well at 10:06.
As for the chemical reaction theory, I think it's unlikely. As far as I know only gas emits blue fire.

PS: The whole video is worth watching.

Hence the classic blue flame seen when someone lights a fart.
