I recently downloaded and installed this game from GOG.com
I also installed the UAP, the widescreen patch, high quality music and high quality town maps.
My character is now level 31 and I've just gotten to Caladon.
I've played the game under the assumption that the UAP has been working the entire time, however, I am still encountering the Medical Arachnid bug, which the UAP supposedly fixes.
So my question: Is there a quick and dirty way to determine if the UAP is working correctly or not?

I solved it, but it wasnt quick or easy.

If anyone is having a similar issue, just go over the changelog until you find something that matches your game.

I had wanted to avoid doing that because of the spoilers present in the changlog...*sigh*

That doesn't sound like a solution until you answer the underlying question: does UAP work with the GOG version of the game? :)
