I have done the island of dispear and there i found out that i need to as the wheel clan dwarfes about the black mountain dwarves but he refuses to give me the item so i can find the entrance to the wheel clan can someone help me pls i went to that location and there is a rock selecteble but i cant do nothing does anyone know how i can gain entrance?

In order to get into the Wheel Clan, you need glasses with Kathorn crystal lenses. But since you couldn't get the glasses from the dwarf on the Isle of Despair, the only other way to get the glasses (that I know of, anyways) is to have someone make them. There is a guy in Ashbury who will make them for you, but you'll need two Kathorn crystals and a pair of glasses. He'll make them for you for 1000 gold, if I remember correctly.

Or, depending on your character, if the dwarf on the Isle Of Despair won't give you the glasses, you could just steal em from him (if you have low pick pocket skill you could always pay a fate point to get a critical success in that skill). Or as Deadalus1138 said, obtain 1000 gold coins, two kathorn crystals (from where I don't know, I'm afraid) and a pair of glasses, then get the glasses maker in Ashbury to make you a custom pair. It's your call.

If you kill the dwarf no one will attack you.

Theres a ship wreak just north of ashbury where you can get some kathorn crystals if you don't already have two in your inventory. Go there and wait till midnight and then the skeletons will appear and attack. Kill them and some have crystals in their inventory.

Isn't there a schematic that he gives you to make them yourself? If I recall correctly, that schematic doesn't actaully require any tech ability to make.

I admit that I haven't been that far in a while, so I may be wrong.

I have solved it on diplomatic way let him join my party went to the wheel and uses his glasses to enter.

That's one of the things I love about Arcanum...multiple solutions to the puzzles. :-)

yeah and i noticed that talking can make some times situations where you can avoid to need to do battle. There was an area that you have to fight in an arena that i avoid it by diplomacy.
