Muro from Terra Arcanum has published a very convenient xls table of all the weapons in Arcanum. No longer must you puzzle over which is better, swords or guns (answer: swords), or if the elephant gun is worth getting (answer: no). You can even input your magick/technology affinity, combat rank and strength for your own personalized table! Fantastic!

The database can be gotten on TA: http://www.terra-arcanum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=16864

If you're like me and don't like Microsoft products, the db works perfectly in the free Gnumeric: http://projects.gnome.org/gnumeric/

Thanks for this. I've just started playing this game again after brief foray into it a couple of years ago, so this should be very useful.
