Hello!

So, is it worthwhile to click a bunch of waypoints on the world map and walk to various places to try and discover things?

What I mean is, when I went from Shrouded Hills to Tarant, I was walking on the world map and some altar appeared on the map, I guess when I got close to it. Are there things like that all over? Should I click a bunch of different waypoints on the world map and automatically walk around to try and discover other things?

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: most places will be triggered when you get near enough; a few are Easter eggs that require you to already know the co-ordinates to which you want to head. Still others are revealed if you accept their associated quest from someone.

Protip: the altar is one stop along a cryptic side quest known as the Arcanum Gods Quest. It's NOT the first stop, however; there's a man at the Tarant university who can tell you more. (And online spoilers, including maps, are available if you can't figure out what he's talking about, or how to proceed.)

Yeah, I just now found that guy. Cryptic indeed. I have no idea what to do in this enormous town of Tarant, haha. I'm talking to every single person I meet, so hopefully it doesn't take me 10 episodes of my playthrough to talk to everyone! Hehe. Did I mention the town is enormous? Good lord, you can easily get lost in this place. I'm loving the diversity of the town, though. I found a warehouse district, a commercial district, the shady part of town, sewers and more. And it's fun to dig in rubbish bins and pull out new shoes to wear! Lol! Cool game so far.

Where is the graveyard? Do I have to leave Tarant and use my world map?

The Tarant graveyard? It's in the western-most corner of the main city area, at the end of Lungsten Road
