I've run into an odd problem. On the quest where you are supposed to stop the sabotuers in the Bates factory so you can meet him, it all goes fine when I wait in the factory and wait until morning. They teleport in like they are supposed to and then wait for one combat turn, and then they dissappear. If I try resting again, the same thing will happen.

Eventually, I've been able to have combat start normally and finish the quest, but I'd like to avoid having to fiddle with it so much. Any thoughts?

All I can do is confirm the bug an point you to this post which refers to the same problem. I've not read a solution. It seems to be system or video card specific since most don't have the problem. . . =)
Lol, I'm having this problem too... it sucks since it seems I can't advance the main story otherwise.

I think it might be related to either:

1) telling your companions to wait, i.e. temporarily removing them from the group but staying within the factory

or

2) trying to lead the saboteurs to the guards

or

2) both

How did you accomplish this?
Hey it happens to me too and this is what worked for me. In stead of waiting till morning and having what happens to you happen to me i wait until evening. Then i just keep selecting wait one hour till they show up. Works every time for me. I think what happens when you wait till morning the game blows past the trigger time and glitches. Try hour or two hour increments.

That sounds about right. Whenever I am supposed to do something at night I wait until midnight (evening - 8pm; and then four more hours). That is usually late enough for the saboteurs to show up and I can fight then.
