Hey folks,

seeing as how I own a mac, I use the excellent Boxer app (boxerapp.com) to play my Dos games. Works perfect for me.Yet, I had an issue with Anvil of Dawn. Basically the game could not launch because it told me to insert a CD.

To make a long story short, Boxer helped me with the solution:

1. Find the Anvil of Dawn gamebox in your DOS Games folder. Right-click on it and choose "Show package contents".
2. Drag "anvil.dat" from the wineskin folder into the gamebox's folder, so it's sitting alongside C.harddisk and DOSBox Preferences.conf and the rest.
3. Rename "anvil.dat" to "D Anvil.iso". (The name tells Boxer it's a CD image that should be mounted at drive D.)

Thats it! And you're all set!

Im excited to play this game. Seems a little light on certain RPG element, but it should be worth a spin.

Enjoy the game....
You're awesome! ..Thank you for this!
Boxerapp does not work with Apple Silicon (M1/M2)
(for anyone finding it via this thread, as did I)
