hello, GOG.
how about it?
Not sure if they can or not. Either way it can be found here....

Is the movie just the game without the fighting, or is it something completely different? I want to play the game before watching it if that is the case.
The movie is mainly made out of the Cut-scenes. Good for watching the Story, but you miss the Sidequests and the battles.

i would recommend this link, only if you`re looking for a very bad quality of the movie.
if GOG`s team can get [download from torrents] their hands on original 2 DVD edition and maybe convert it to moderate size avi/mkv file(s), (and add russian subtitles, so i can show this to my girlfriend) that would be nice and really outstanding bonus content

please gog add the movie to the dl page!
you can try to get it from the pirate bay
or watch dvdrip on youtube, but quality is suffering

after you beat the game you can choose to watch any of the cutscenes again from the game's menu. Wouldn't that be pretty much the same thing? (I never seen the movie just beat the game)

This is a long shot, but does anyone have the Anachronox Movie DVD release?

It's supposed to be higher quality and have some extra material, but I can't find it anywhere.

I own the game, but would love to get my hands on the movie, just to save it from being lost to time.

I believe that I still have the 2 .iso files (about 8 gigs altogether) Jake officially posted years ago:

The links there no longer work. I suppose I could seed the files somehow, but I've never done that before so I don't know how exactly. And I'm assuming this is permissible for now. I don't recall the quality being that much better, and I never really looked if there was any extra content or not.
Edit: I checked for bonus materials, and it's got some trailers, a slideshow of art from the game, and some deleted scenes.

That's great news! Yes, the developers released the DVD Movie to the public years ago, the only problem is users stopped seeding.

I'm no uTorrent ninja, but the page makes sharing files sound easy enough:

"* Locate the file or folder you want to share.
* Drag and drop the file or folder onto the µTorrent interface and then follow instructions. At the end of the process, click Copy Link.
* Now, send this link to whomever you’d like via e-mail, chat, etc. "

Okay, let's see if this works. Here's the link:

My connection's always on, I'll just minimize my Internet use so you and anyone else can download this faster.

Alright, it looks like it's done. Let me know if everything went through okay.

Works like a charm! Thanks so much. I'm doing my first playthrough of Anachronox now, and I look forward to sitting down and watching this once I finish the game. :)

Happy Halloween! And all upcoming holidays as well.
