1.Open "Launch.exe", click "Video Options", set the "Screen Resolution" to 1024x768.
2.Create a shorcut of "alone4.exe", right click then "Properties", go to the "Shortcut" tab, paste "resx=1366-resy=768" in the target field.
3.Download the high quality Dreamcast videos, delete the "movies" folder, copy the new "movies folder" and replace "binkw32.dll".

Unfortunately this does not work for me, at least under Windows 11 with a high DPI monitor.

The most I can achieve is seeing the initial Infogrames logo in full screen, then I see nothing (but hear the audio) for the ensuing cut scenes. The game menu will then show up, and in conjunction with using the command line options or launcher to set the initial resolution, I can set any particular resolution I am after. I need to use the AMD drivers to force the game to use 4:3 ratio if that is desired. Also, between the initial character selection screen and the start of the game, it will always minimize the full screen window to the task bar, but after maximizing it again, play proceeds as normal.

Not ideal really. I decided to instead run this within a Windows 7 virtual machine in VMware Workstation, and it works flawlessly, albeit with less convenience.

I hope one day this will be made to work perfectly in Windows 10/11.
