Can we expect the soundtrack? Cause the original AVP Gold came with it on its CDs.

If they are missing the soundtrack for the release I could rip it for them as I have the GOLD Edition

Thanks! :) EDIT: Oh, I guess the soundtrack as bonus content still isn't available? Oh well, hopefully soon.

Mmh, the backup I have is setup_avp_classic_2.0.0.21.exe with approx size of 463mb which is about the same size as 2.0.0.25 available for download. May not have been added unless they shrunk the installer enough to add the music to the base game and keep a similar size.
If the music is supposed to be a bonus content, can't see it there either.

It should pop up sometime, nice bonus to get when it does ^.^

Sorry for reviving this ancient post, but I went looking for the OST on my AVP GOG purchase after reading this and only found the native .bik files used by the game in ...\GOG Games\AvP Classic\FMVs.

This post had led me to believe that GOG was offering a rip of the original disc that accompanied the original release.

That does not seem to be the case, so I'm guessing that previous GOG versions of the game had no music, just SFX.

Anyway, if anyone stumbles here and also wants to listen to the soundtrack outside of the game, you can download the official RAD Video Tools for free (non-commercial use) here: http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

These tools allow you to play the .bik and .smk files found in the game's directory.

The tools also allow you to convert these files to .wav so you don't have to leave a piece of software installed just to listen to a specific OST.
