Has this GOG game better resolution or is it just made to work under Dosbox? Also is it fully voiced or not? I have the boxed version from ancient times but I cant remember if it was fully voiced nor I can run in on Windows 7

Albion was never voiced and only full-text as it is an older RPG. But you could execute this one native on Linux or Windows:

Windows-port = https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByS3DU4n3Ke0Z0IydlpKdk11aFE/view?pli=1
Linux-port = https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByS3DU4n3Ke0cUZTM0ZibFhFUVE/view?pli=1

Works like a charm under Linux: http://www.dailymotion.com/playlist/x3wlnr_Throgh_albion-spiele-und-unterhaltung/1#video=x2vrhaz

It's the original version running under DOSBox. There is no voice acting (Albion was never voiced).
Thank you
Hi, how can i start the gog version with the win port? It says to copy the albion cd contents on harddrive, but i dont own a cd version.
Edit: Nevermind. Didn't know that game.gog is a normal iso file. Found the cd contents inside. :)

You need the content of the original CD which is in fact also included. Just have a look on the GOG-file! Use your favorite tool to mount/extract it, then follow the instructions in the readme-Windows/-Linux.
