So far, the EU located folks get the shaft. Where are the Australians? Still asleep? I suspect it's going to be extra shaft for them - makes me think, the timing of putting the pre-order up was carefully chosen to avoid another big wave of negativity in the thread.

EDIT: I'm taking it back, it looks like the folks from the Eurozone, most of Africa and South America are the ones deemed to having a stash of gold bars under their beds.

But hey, Good news! you can get a copy of Master of Magic, Lords of Magic: Special Edition, Eador: Genesis, King’s Bounty: The Legend, Disciples II: Gold, and Etherlords II. What, you already have them? Eh... NP, you can always gift the extra game, at least so long as the gifting system is still intact - btw, has it been tested that it still is?

Ok done. Do note that since I'm not physically in all these places (have not yet mastered teleportation) I have to trust that the numbers I'm given are accurate... Should be right for the most part though.
Very little you didn't already know though. Russia being dirt cheap and Poland getting a "hometeam discount" we already knew about. Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Turkey gets it cheaper, probably due to not being part of the EU. UK also has a cheaper price since £ price never line up with € prices. Egypt gets it cheaper than the rest of Africa and South America and Asia are very inconsistent (reason why I looked up every South American country).

Gee lets see $15 more expensive in Germany, when it should only be $8 more expensive (allowing for 20% Tax). Not horrendous, but not acceptable either. (Yes lovely to offer a free game, but I've no interest in playing any of those games)

For me it's €23.99.
Yes, my mistake - changed it. :)

Slovakia is 15 Dollars MORE expensive than Norway ??? I thought these guys were Poles. Surely they can see it ain't fair charging the Slavs a whooping 30% more especially considering the huge wage disparity. Average Slovak wage is 888 € per month compared to Norways 6909 USD. Sheesh, Czech Republic and Slovakia are even 5 USD higher than the UK.

What a crock of shit.

On my static Swedish IP I'm still getting consistently weird results because now every time I click on the Normal edition, I see the $54.99/$61.99 while if I click the Deluxe Edition I get $39.99/$44.99 but if I put something in the cart I always get the more expensive price. I guess it's a site bug.

I was actually looking forward to this game and definitely wanted to pre-order it, but now that I've seen the insane and unfair price disparity between regions... well, if Triumph and GOG.com can't fix this in a fair and balanced manner, as a matter of principle, I will have to stand aside for this one, which saddens me greatly considering how much I loved the previous three (or two-and-a-half) games.

I should be happy, living in Poland, that the price here is lower than elsewhere. Yet, this situation is ridiculous :(

What's horrendous about this is how arbitrary the prices seem to be. The average citizen of e.g. Bulgaria, Georgia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania etc. etc. has more than twice as much money to spend on videogames as people from Russia and Poland? Africans can afford much higher prices than Americans? Yeah, I'm totally convinced now that regional pricing is for the good of the people. :P

You're welcome. Do remember though that, like I said there's some inherent uncertainty here and after double checking a few countries, I'm getting conflicting information, especially in Africa (seems like I'm not the only one though, maybe they're still tweaking the regions or something). So I'd recommend you using native people's report over mine if available... Keep you posted if something changes... And if I ever get South Korea's price...

Slovenia

Normal Edition: €39.99/$54.99
Deluxe Edition: €44.99/$61.99

Honestly, some of the differences have me completely bewildered. I don't get why certain African, Asian and South American countries are getting charged more than others. They feel completely arbitrary.

I guess their GeoIP service is not as reliable as they thought. Or the implementation is buggy.
But the (almost noexisting) pattern in the price distribution is interesting.

Djungelurban: Poland getting a "hometeam discount"
Not so sure about blaming GOG for this one. Triumph Studios is based in the Netherlands and they're probably the ones setting the prices. At least here in Sweden the price on GOG and the price on Steam is identical ($54.99/$61.99). Can anyone in Poland double check the prices on Steam to verify if GOG is tweaking the price for this particular region?

Djungelurban: Hungary: $54.99/$61.99
I think there was somebody from Hungary posting earlier saying they have the same prices as Russia. I'll see if I can find the post.

Like I said, I may be wrong. Hard to be very thorough when checking 60+ countries at the same time. I'll keep double checking what I've found though throughout the evening and also hopefully people actually living in the countries listed catch any errors I haven't found yet.

I looked it up and the post was edited, so I guess it was an error or misunderstanding on my part. I found another post from Hungary that confirmed the price you found.
