Every time I try to patch "Age of Wonders 3" with this file "patch_age_of_wonders3_2.2.2.13.exe" (should be Patch 1.432), it tells me that it can not find my game installation. I have tried running it in the game folder as administrator, but still get the same problem. I tried reinstalling the game and still the patch does not see my game installation. For the record, This patch file "patch_age_of_wonders_iii_2.0.2.6.exe" does work. I tried installing the latest patch to a fresh installation, and with the earlier patch installed. Will someone tell me what I am doing wrong, or how to install this patch?

You're right, it's silly. Though it's probably not GOG's fault, as the patch was provided this way by the developers.
