Well, we all knew it already :) but anyway, here's the official teaser:

We now know the release date.

Thanks for the link. +1.
So basically, early adopters are suckers, we'll take age of wonders shadow magic and cut it into pieces to sell you for 10 bucks each because fuck you, speaking of that expect at least 2 more expansions and this is supposed to be the "good kind" of DLC because it's not just 3 bucks for a character.
Right.
I'll just wait for the "here's the whole actual game for a sane price ultimate goty ultra mega" edition as this wonderful industry taught me to do.
For me, Age of Wonders III went from instant pre-order to the status of maybe one day in the far future I'll consider buying it because of DLC.

In my opinion, publishers should either guarantee all future DLC for the people who pre-order or offer a slightly more expensive option with all the upcoming content included.
Yeah, I hate it when a developer makes nice additional content for a game I like too.

I'm not clear on what your problem is, really. So far these DLC have added more content than Shadow Magic did, and combined cost less than Shadow Magic did (or at most the same amount, depending on area, pricing, etc). I mean, mate, don't get me wrong. I love Shadow Magic. As a long-time fan of AoW, going back to playing the demo for AoW 1 before it was released, I was immensely disappointed with AoW 2, and thought SM fixed everything that was wrong with it. I played the snot out of that game. But I'm not really clear on what the meaningful difference is between paying thirty bucks for two DLC expansions and paying thirty-thirty five bucks for one expansion pack (because, yes, that's what Shadow Magic was. A standalone expansion pack, but an expansion pack nonetheless). I mean, I would say the former is the better deal, because Eternal Lords seems to be roughly making the same amount of changes and additions as Shadow Magic, so you've got your equivalency right there for twenty bucks, and then Golden Realms on top of that.

Also I'm not clear on why this punishes early adopters.
Complaining about the game getting expansions now?
Seriously?
These are the features in the new expansion:

and that's not taking into account the new improvements in the 1.5 patch that all users will receive for free. In my opinion this is much, much more content than what you get in most game expansions, this is a lot of work and I fail to see how the developers somehow shouldn't expect to get paid for working.

Including Shadow Magic, which is what it's always being compared to (for some reason, unfavorably)
Personally, I am excited about this expansion and will be purchasing it the moment it appears for sale on GoG. More Age of Wonders is never a bad thing!
Speaking of comparisons, here are some interesting numbers:

I cant wait Age of wonders 3 is the best game on Gog possibly ever made. And this expansion pack is going to bring so much new material it will basically be a brand new game. The developers of this title are the best in the business, they actually listen to their fans and make the game the way we want it. The fist expansion contained double the amount of features than were announced in a free patch and improved the experience of an already spectacular game.
If you are waiting for the last expansion to be released you are missing out on contributing to the development of this title. Get involved now, you won't regret the decision.

Cool graphic. It helps put things into perspective :)
Less than a week to the release, fingers crossed :)

In the meantime, in addition to the buttload of content already known to be included in EL, a new dwelling has also been leaked: the Reef Colony, inhabited by merfolk and other sea-related creatures.
It's coming out tomorrow, I'm wondering why the expansion is not listed on the "upcoming" section of the GOG front page ?
