At this point I don't care anymore about MP, I just want to play in pure SP mode, as I always wanted.
Too bad the devs introduced this EAC keylogger/bloatware/crapware which I DON'T want at all to install on my system.
I then forcibily uninstalled it, but as soon I hope the game from it's standard launcher (not the EAC one) I get a CTD just after the devolver digital logo.

I really hope I don't forcefully have to install EAC to play a game I put my money into, before this was introduced in the first place.

With the upcoming dungeons, I'm interested in seeing the answer to this as well. All I want to do is play this as pseudo-Godhand game and want nothing to do with the multiplayer. How viable is that currently?

Just found an half assed solution by myself: I installed through sandboxie (I HAD TO DO SO, because the offline installers automatically installs EAC on my system, WITHOUT MY CONSENT, move I really hated from GOG). After that I carefully removed any EAC crap related, be it a system file inside a fake system folder made by sandboxie or any folder/dll inside absolver directory, and finally launched the game from the executable "Absolver-Win64-Shipping.exe" which you can find in the following directory: GOG Games\Absolver\Absolver\Binaries\Win64.

Hope this can help anybody not wanting to deal with EAC and MP.

Gurlok:
Was the effort involved worth it? Did those dungeons they announced get added and are they playable in singleplayer?

As far I know it has yet to be released. I also think it will ge delayed on GOG too, as there seems to be a DLC on steam (with some emojis along new outfits) and has yet to be seen here.

As for the general effort, it all depends on what you want to do, since you PAID for this damn game and the reward for it was EAC along a middle finger after some months from the purchase (sorry for the rudeness, I can't truly digest this move), which leaves you to either use this method if you want to avoid EAC, or leave this game dead in your library.

Not the best of the choices either way, sadly :/

That's a real shame. I was hoping Absolver would get some more single-player content over time, but it seems to have been turned into a rather ungainly way to play the game. Plenty of fighting games out there that are multiplayer oriented, but even those have arcade modes for you to bounce off the CPU with. I really don't understand why the game actively hampers you from enjoying it off-line by stripping out content and making it a pain to play. Thanks for the info though!

No problem. As I said before, there is a dlc in the making, but that's it. :/
