The Source Code for Jazz Jackrabbit 2 might be lost, and the Source Code for Prince of Persia was nearly lost.

There is, it's horrible: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/6271/where_games_go_to_sleep_the_game_.php E.g. Taito announced 1996 that they lost the Bubble Bobble Source code, Atari throw away the source code of Centipede to trash...etc :(

Therefore should GOG try to obtain the source code where possible:
