Filter My Games by Platform completed
Bumping this one as it was completed.
GOG: Please mark as completed
This has been implemented recently.
You can. First: all of them have the Windows version available. Second: type "mac" in the search box (or "linux", if you're like me and run that).
This would be a great feature for me.
Visual indicators would be good, but the ability to filter my library by platform would be perfect.
Because I mainly play on windows so I never check compatibility when buying but when I'm on my linux laptop, it's annoying to have to click through my library to check which installers are available for each game.
Also the more games you buy, the harder it gets to know which ones were ported to linux from the last time you checked, so it feels like it's even more of an issue for the most frequent GOG customers.
It would be nice if you could sort your library the same way you can sort games in the store: by genre, release date, platform, etc.
Yes please. Another solution is going to the Store > Linux Games and look for the ones that say "owned"
This would be really useful, specially since some games are starting to get linux versions without any notification, so you have no way to know which games are now available without checking one by one.
Absolutely. I am about to look what games I will download for my notebook with Linux and going through hundreds of games without any indication of platform is very, very painful.
An option for filtering my library by OS would be helpful, especially since Linux games currently cannot be added to the downloader so I need to be able to see all the games I still need to manually download.
I want the same thing , as a Linux user.
Uh oh. I just voted up a duplicate of this wish with fewer votes. Oh well. I would like this too. I only use Linux now, and it would be great to be able to easily see which of the games I already own have been made Linux compatible.
I want it for Linux. I switched completely to Linux several months ago and I was so excited to have GOG start supporting it, but right now I have to click on every one of my games to see which of the games I've already purchased will work on Linux. Voting for this one. I would think this would be an easy fix to implement, but if it's not it's not a big deal; I'm sure everybody is busy at GOG on more important things!
Agreed! I only play Linux games. So my library is kinda messed up by the free non-Linux titles right now.
There is such a thing www.gog.com/games##system_linux=ubuntu,mint - linux www.gog.com/games/##system_osx=106,107 - mac
+1
Until GOG improve their search capabilities, you might want to know that MaGog (https://www.an-ovel.com/pages/magog.php), the search engine for GOG games, already supports all these features.
This would be a very nice feature. For what it's worth, if GOG doesn't do it, it shouldn't be too hard to write a little browser plugin that scrapes the relative info and implements the sort/filter. Though maybe that's more trouble than it's worth.

I would love for it to be account wide though. Don't show games across the top that are pc only when looking at the mac page.
Allow the mac filter to also filter by genere.
What annoys me both about steam and this site is there is no site wide block pc only items at the account level.
I would like to see some more "intelligent" filter-options.
"Intelligent" because filtering for games less than 6 USD on a sale is rather useless, since at least 80% of all the games are reduced to either 2.99 or 4.99 USD.
It would be more effective adding either smaller steps 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10... etc or a free-form box.
Additionally the game release year filter should also be worked over in the same way.
Having "before 1995" and "BETWEEN 1995-2005" covers a lot of years and presents one again with most of the catalog.
I also support OPs request to filter for OSs.
This wish is unclear. It says you want to sort, but then in the text it requests the ability to filter.
We can already filter for os x games, although not windows games (since they currently all run there.) However, we can't sort.
Oh, durr, that option does exist!
I'd love for this option to be available on other pages, too -- on a sale page, genre page, etc., to be able to look only at the ones available for Mac.

This is already done. Unless you mean for 'My Games', the personal game shelf. Look here for a better described wish: https://secure.gog.com/wishlist/site/ability_to_sort_your_my_games_library_by_platform
Yes! I play most games on my Windows computer, but I have a MacBook Air for travel -- it'd be really handy to be able to filter my games by platform/OS.
This is a good idea, but I'm on the opposite end of this... I would like to filter out games that require Windows 7 and Vista.
Yes please! It shouldn't be so hard, you can do it when you buy.
And don't send me promo emails for a platform I don't have!
I find such an option extremely useful since I only use Windows 7. I don't want to see games that aren't compatible.
why would you want to leave UAC on? just turn it off like everyone else.
And also stop claiming Win 7 support for games which require diabling UAC.
Exclude games from search results / promotion pages etc that aren't compatible. (Hate getting my hopes up, only to find it isn't compatible).
Very good idea :)
