Tamin Many games use Roman numerals (Ultima IV), super- or sub-scripting the number (Descent^3) for visual distinction. Others feature extra information in the title: " + Expansion", "Deluxe Edition", "Gold Edition". This has the unfortunate side-effect of placing games out of order: for example, "Descent 3" is viewed as "Descent3", and placed before "Descent I & II"; and "Freespace 2" is before "Freespace + Expansion" While trivial to correct (using the manual sort) and an incredibly minor annoyance: I would like to see the "By title" sort (in particular) recognize when games share a series, and ensure they're placed in a logical order.

Nesoo Additionally, games that start with "A", "An", or "The" should ignore those when sorting alphabetically. My wishlist shouldn't start with "A Bird Story", "A Golden Wake", and "Age of Wonders 3"; those first two should be in the B's and G's, respectively, with "Age of Wonders 3" as the first entry.
The easiest way to fix this, including the original wish, is probably to have an internal name for the games that's only used for sorting, instead of sorting by the actual title. "Descent³", (I sure hope that HTML works...) for example, would be listed internally as "Descent 3", "Ultima IV" as "Ultima 4", "A Bird Story" as "Bird Story, A", "Freespace + Expansion" as simply "Freespace 1", etc.
DProudmoore This is particularly noticable for games within a series that either don't have the series name in the title or don't use any numbering to determine their order like the Tex Murphy series.
