OK maybe this already exists and it doesn't work for me, but it would be great to get an email notification when somebody replies to something you posted on the forums. At the moment I have to check back periodically.

Since forum replies notifications was broken, then here should be alternate way to stay up to date with people who want contact you.

Would be a nice feature to receive e-mail notifications for:
_new posts quoting one of yours
_new threads in "favourite" forums
_new posts in "favourite" threads

Of course it should be an "opt-in" option.

Thanks for the tip about the downloader... but still, it shouldn't be necessary to use a third-party program just for that. A standard email notification like most sites have would be simple and perfect.

Use the downloader, the downloader creates a pop-up above the clock when you get a forum reply.
