If it were like a Steam sale where they had a "return" on the last day where people could still catch sales they missed it wouldn't be so bad, but the chance of me running into a game I both want and don't own (less than 100 of them on GOG) is pretty low.

dewd. You take this little too seriously. So you miss a bargain and didn't get Master of Orion 1 at 1.5$. So what. All games are cheap outside of this fire sale.

IMO, it's just a fun way to get a game for pennies you wouldn't have thought to get otherwise.

Feel free to boycot but I wonder why raise an issue about it.

A little addendum. I love this site. I love the many extras games come with. I love the way they support their games, either with feedback or even to writing their own software to make it run, and even more than I can think of right now. They do more in supporting their games than any other site I know of, now or in the past. These Insomnia Sales have, however, dramatically reduced my faith in GOG.

I know the following language is slightly inflammatory, and I apologize for it. However, it is absolutely the best way to describe it. Putting low numbers of games that sell out so fast people can't take time to make up their minds is nothing short of high pressure sales tactics which is a bully move as is any sale that gives me less than 2 hours to choose. GOG is better than this. I plan to boycott all future Insomnia Sales no matter how much I might want a game in them.
