Bring SEGA PC games to GOG.com

Added byrabbids4eva's avatarrabbids4eva

I've always wanted to play Bug! or even the PC version of Virtua Fighter on my Vista, but sure, It is a complete hassle on getting it elsewhere. If the SEGA PC games (like Sonic CD, for example) would be on GOG, then I will never have difficulties playing the old previously-released PC games by SEGA on newer Windows platforms (yes, even the Mac)

Love to see the Virtua Cop or the House of the Dead series as well. Sonic 3D, three little dwarfs. All the old good SEGA games, when SEGA was cool.

@Retrostage: Yeah, I had trouble getting the lag off the CD version of SEGA RALLY ^^' I bet THAT would be one of the very first ones for GOG.

@DRM_free_fan: I mentioned both classic (like Sonic CD, of course, for example etc.) AND recent (like Total War series etc.), you know. And oh, you wouldn't go wrong if one of the classic or modern ones would be free to concede with the "Welcome to GOG.com" line-up of SEGA games.

SEGA already partnered with DotEmu. I guess both GOG and SEGA ready to rock when time is come.

@ elus89 (googles gamersgate) Wow! Why didn't I hear about this site before?! (browses more) I think I like GOG pricing better somehow... (searches site) Hmmm. I can't see too many SEGA titles. And the ones I did find are not DRM-free. Which titles were you referring to?

Gamersgate has released DRM-free Sega games, so I think it's a good possibility. However, they need to lower their standard price points so we can get the games individually for reasonable prices.

SEGA like to release old classics in compilations however since the Dreamcast Collection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamcast_Collection) the only Windows releases have been on STEAM. Would be great if GOG could pull this off, I just don't see it happening. :(
