BOG - Bad Old Games
I would argue that 90% of every game ever made (not just on gog) is a "bad game". But that's just my opinion of course. There's no real way to measure "goodness" in this section because everyone is going to link a different game and dislike a different one. If it were up to me it would be easier to make a list of games that are Not bad, but again, opinions.
Funny idea, but no vote from me. A GOG-mix suffices fully. Besides: There's no accounting for taste.
Waaaaay too controversial. Even in your "Daikatana" example - there's many people who consider it an unpolished diamond, one of the best games of the period.
If you want BOG - make your own ~B~GOG mix ;)
Then people would complain about which games are in BOG and which are not.
PHANTOM HOURGLASS BEST ZELDA
It would be a better idea tu just sort the games with the score system (2 stars, 3 stars... etc) inside the site.
The truth is it is possible to make BOG happen, maybe as a promo, I mean, an special compilation of games which became known for bad reception but were still enjoyable, so bad they were good, and it would not be an insult to the game, It could be called parody.
If GOG started a sister site called BOG that would be great. They could launch the site by giving out free copies of Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
Voted, but better call it B-Games or Obscure Games. According to the following post: www.gog.com/forum/general/letter_from_the_md_about_regional_pricing/post2664 it seems GOG doesnt want to present games as "Bad Games"here.
what @avatarOfLight said. If I was an IP owner closing a deal with GOG I would be absolutely irritated to see my game pop up on an "official bad games" list. I'd probably back out of the deal or at least call my lawyers and ask for compensations.
Creating a GogMix seems the best way to go.
@AvatarOfLight
Not enough material for a good mix of many flavours :)
I'd say this is highly unrealistic. People who own the rights to these games won't want them to be put into a "bad game" category. How about just making a bad games GOG mix?
This needs more votes! I'd love a BOG section. Playing bad games can be funny, and then there's that category of old games we loved as a kid that are probably terrible but we love them anyway and want to revisit memories.
