fdiskit I find it odd that nobody's commented on this for two years. I'm shopping for a birthday gift for a friend, and they like to (gasp) play classic games. I figure this would be like handing a kid a gift card for a candy store ... but, no dice. I don't think you need to have the infrastructure like a Steam or AMZN, but, unless you really need to distribute physical cards, just do it virtual - less overhead for you, but people still get to play good old games. You'll also get some cash conversions when people still want a game, but it's more than the balance on their card/account. Ah, well, guess I'm getting him a Steam card.
Kylvanas So I just got my gift from my Aunty. She normally gets me gift cards fro Xmas and Bdays. I usually ask for steam cards. However I would love to be able to have the option of asking for GoG Gfits cards as it my next used platform after steam.
lachlanlinton Steam gets all my relatives money at Christmas and on my birthday. GOG gets none. This could change.
dgryphon Google search to find giftcards to point fam to for xmas got me here. Sad to see there aren't any options for giftcards based on this post.

mokolon I want to supoort GoG. I love what you guys are doing. While *I* can buy myself games, very often my wife or family would like to do so. They do not have a GoG account and aren't gamers who'd be interested in one. What they do have is money they want to give you so that I can spend it. That leaves them with the easy to find Steam gift cards... ...when my preference would be otherwise.
SemiShade To add to what others have said, GOG gift cards would be AWESOME. Think about it GOG, if you had gift cards that would mean more sales for you and more income. Then again, they would have to ask their parent company "CD Project Red" if they would be allowed to ... Don't get me wrong, CD Project Red knows what gamers want. Come on, they made the Witcher games and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. Never played them, and I never will but I will buy a lot more games from GOG. For example, I would buy their PC ports if the King of Fighters games but I don't want to use a credit or debit card.
spacebug I agree. The main reason I use Steam over GOG is that I have wallet funds from gift cards (and from selling card drops). If I could ask my family for gog gift cards for Christmas, maybe I'd buy from here more!
VonKilotz All I use is Steam cards to add to my Steam wallet. I'm shocked GOG doesn't have the same system aswell.
Cthulhu Calamari I have really been looking for a good means to stop relying on Steam so much, and I would love to use GOG more, but for gifts from family members who are not at all technologically inclined, Steam cards are the most convenient thing for them to get.

erewhon2 Really want this facility, actually asked the team last year. My husband spends a lot of time on here and buys regularly. I would love to give him a gift voucher for Christmas or birthdays
