techieg33k Almost at the 48-hour mark so hopefully a lot of people getting the Reminder E-mails will help this move along. At just over $50k and almost 1000 backers so this is very much still within reach!
Mnrk The Kickstarter for Windwalkers is ending in 11 days, and they still need 48% to go.
They published a post about this ( www.kickstarter.com/projects/forgeanimation/windwalkers-the-movie-series/posts/1267455 ), and it is quite heartbreaking, since they could be facing the end of the entire project (movie series, video games, etc.), but also the end of Forge Animation itself !
They're asking for 75,000 and they got 40,000.
What is frustrating is that they had some great talents working on the preproduction ; and that they raised more than 130K when they failed reaching 300K for their first Kickstarter, which was focused on the video game.

I really hope they'll make it. That is an amazing project. I've seen a glimpse of it during a masterclass, and it could only be tremendous.

We receive so much proposals from composers for the music of WINDWALKERS that, even if we already work with the wonderful group STARWALKER composed by Jean-Benoit DUNKEL (from the former band AIR) and Bardi JOHANSSON, we decided to create a special contest to open the project to a new composer.
Here is how it works:

techieg33k Forge Animations is currently running a Kickstarter for Windwalkers, the movie. They're initial goal is to get a 5 minute clip funded for the eventual 50 minute movie. Plans for 6 movie in all. The movie is part of the transmedia project for the Windwalkers (Based on the novel "The Horde of the counterwind by French Author Alain Damasio).
I would love to see this fully funded and also sold here on GOG.com (honestly the only place I can think of to buy a digital copy of this once it is for sale.
