sketcz Yes! I would like this, in addition to The Precursors, which is by the same Ukrainian studio (Deep Shadows). Perhaps GOG could arrange a licensing deal for the two games together?

I hate drm, but this game is so stunning! Same goes for Precursors.
Shame I didn't buy it thru Beamdog when they had that huge promo back then :(
BurningSheep Gaah, it's almost impossible to find their games anywhere. Ther are still some used copies of Boiling Point on amazon.de, but nothing as far as Xenus II and The Precursors are concerned. Precursors definitely was avaiblable at gamersgate at some point, but it seems to have disappeared from there. I would be really interested in trying them.

CoconutCookie I agree, it is not easy to buy this game today, and the community is still working on patches, would really like to see it here.
squid830 Was going to request this as I just thought about it. Didn't find out it was actually released until recently - probably because they didn't translate it into English unlike the last one. Sure it'll be buggy, but it will have a HUGE amount of content. HUGE. Think Deus Ex in a more "realistic" environment, but with (probably) a dodgier plot, way more things to do, vehicles to drive (and lots of them), lots of factions to join (each with their own respect meter), lots of weapons, skills kind of like an RPG (vaguely).
Actually I'm mainly going on the few previews and what the first one was like. I don't think I've ever persevered with a buggy, outdated looking game like I did with Boiling Point - played it through from start to finish at least twice (I think I only stopped because I somehow thought this was coming out).
Basically, if they combined the graphics of Far Cry 2/3 with Boiling Point, you would have the ultimate game - BP had all the little RPG-ish interactions and factions and vehicles that would have made Far Cry 2 way more awesome.
While I doubt Xenus 2 would live up to FC3 graphically, it would have SO much more in it to make it worth playing.
Rant over - please get this in!
mrcommando60 severly disapointed this was never truly ported over from Russian to English. My Russian is horrible, but if you get the Russian version there is an awesome English translation fan patch from WESP5 or WESPY5.
If GOG could do that and get rid of its troublesome DRM this would be a good game. Still a little buggy like the previous one though.
