Cy-Fox Xenonauts is an X-COM UFO Defense inspired game put together by the indie studio Goldhawk Interactive. Based in the Cold War, it draws heavily upon the original X-COM gameplay mechanics such as time units, real-time management, turn based tactical battles and cow abductions.
xep624 I would love to pre-order this little gem - GOG.com doesn't have original X-Com games and this one is a perfect substitute. Please bring this one here as I don't want to buy this game on Steam! $25 or $45 or whatever - I don't care - I can afford good game and the quality always deserves top dollar.
aspower Seems like a perfect match for GOG. Taking the gameplay mechanics of yore and bringing them into the modern era. I'd buy.

Logically speaking, X-com original(not that piece of excrement under another company) is to this day as popular as it was when it first came out.
A team that makes a game in the same footsteps AND improves the system should be on GOG. If not...well could they be more poor in judgement of what is allowed on the site.
(side note spread the word about this game and Underrail!)

Skystrider Yes, absolutely. I think GOG would be making a major error in judgement if they exclude Xenonauts because of a requested $25 price point. It is worth that price, in my opinion. It is also one of the most anticipated indie games of the year, and I believe GOG would be missing out if they don't distribute it.
aylien Yes please! After the success of Legend of Grimrock and Mechnarium, I think quality indie games should definitely have a home here on GOG.
