iceman8881 Viper Racing. This is my favourite racing game of all time. My dad's workmate in the IT department gave me a copy on a CD-R when I was about 10 years old. I remember modifying your Viper as you progress in the race career mode. there was a very in depth modification system, adding different engine or aerodynamics mods, or brakes, suspension. There was also a brilliant custom paint scheme designer where I would spend a lot of time tweaking my scheme. The physics was very realistic, very advanced for its time and had fantastic feel to the car, weighty and powerful. There is an impressive damage simulation, wheels ripped backwards upon hitting a rock, side caved in, roof caved in after you fly off the side of a cliff, I mean accurately depicted. Not only that, this isn't only for show, the wheels are tethered realistically to the chassis, suspension gets broken and will affect your handling accurately. I think this is what was so amazing for its time, its damage simulation would hold up even today. But it was also a great racing simulation and very exciting to play. It had the right feel that hooked you in to it. In the options you could change to a few different vehicles for fun, one being a big red plane. It's absolutely worthy of a place on GOG

I'm still playin' it in 2022, so ofc I'd like to see it here, updated with the last 1.2.6 2017 patch (which I can't get it from nowhere).

Charodiy_UA First 3D racing game that was on my old PC with Win98, and I can say, that game is awesome (I mean Breathtaking)!

Still would like to fiddle around this game. But I think it's probably much too 'niche' for a release on GOG.

"GRAPHICS CARD ERROR FIX for Viper Racing. If you have a 32 or 64 bit Windows Desktop PC or Laptop with a newer graphics card or onboard graphics that gives you some sort of error when you try to start the game,I discovered how to modify the race.bin file so the game will work.It was tested and fired up the game with no issues.

sedlbo Wow. Remember playing the demo over and over again. Mostly stuck to the suspension view and, of course, to the Viper.
