vovick The game was one of my all-time favourites, it would be an instant buy if it ever finds its way here, along with the second part. Played it years since its release, with no music or hardware rendering, and yet had tons of fun. A mix of an FPS and a strategy game just can't "age poorly", especially when you can run over the infantry with your almighty supreme commander tank!

halohelldaddy I think the main problem with this game is that NOBODY knows what it is... which sucks because this is the shit! I'm really hoping GOG picks it up.

Quartermass99 I'd love to see it on GOG. I tried off and on for a long time to get it running, even installing XP on a partition so I could relive the fun. I could only get the crappy low-resolution software renderer working. The real prize -- glide emulation -- remains out of reach. Check out the forums on zeus-software.com where the hopeful still seek solutions to get it running without crashes under nglide. Too many Windows compatibility problems...

DarkDemonXR69 Today after bought a bundle with the game "incoming forces" I was watching videos from old similar games that I played when I was a kid. Battlezone 1 and 2. And this... Years before I didnt care if the game dont work because I had a original copy. But now I have nostalgic rage to play it and I cant because of compatibility and the F**** 3Dfx graphics. GOG needs this jewels of games.

halohelldaddy This game is definitely the one game I would like to see added to gog.com. I've tried for years to get this game to work on both my Windows 8.1 Desktop and my windows 7 Laptop, and I've had no luck getting the game to work. I will admit I got it to work temporarily on the Laptop, enough to allow me to play 2 levels before it crashed and never worked again.
But now I'm ranting. Please gog.com team, this would be the greatest gift anyone could ever give and I would be forever grateful to you as a company!
stoner6 This game DOES run on windows 8.1 with NVIDIA hardware at least (software D3D,----- glide not tested). WIn 95 compatability, ACT fixes applied. Go to thread: www.zeus-software.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=255&sid=fce7cbcb21b7f13fb1b5af05f0cff709&start=10
and find the Uprising 1 and 2 ACT fix (about 1 K download). Unzip and copy the uprising.sbd file to system32, then right click and run "uprising compatablility" as administrator.
mcbond This was a really innovative and crazy fun game -- I'd buy it in a heartbeat if GOG were to resurrect it for Win8.

DoktorTrask I have the Original-CD's of Uprising 1+2, to bad that both don't run under Vista, Win 7 and 8. In Germany both are censored (Green Blood).

branbuds This was a great game originally written for 3dfx cards. I have the original CD but have never got it to install on Windows XP. Please port this at it still stands up today.
