The Pinball Arcade
Might as well not bother with this, since the Williams and Bally licenses weren't renewed. Yesterday, those tables were removed. If they get licensing renewed then sure.
After all this time, it really is about time that GOG spoke to Farsight Studios about bringing this to GOG. I love pinball but refuse to pay the large sums to own substantial numbers for their pinball packs when it is all DRM. If I could get it on GOG I'd buy the lot.
Wish this will pick up by GOG.
I have the Gottlieb collection and the Williams collection, awesome games. The number of tables in The Pinball Arcade is tremendous, though they're still releasing tables. If I were to buy I would want the complete collection. DRM free goes without saying.
I think the real contribution GOG would be making here would be the introduction of a DRM-free version of The Pinball Arcade. I, for one, am a little concerned about throwing 30-40 USD down on collections of tables when they require server authentication, but I would probably HAVE to buy all three collections of tables if it was DRM-free. This is seriously the only thing holding me back from buying The Pinball Arcade tables.
This looks very good, but i am not nuts..if you want the 3 pro packs you must
pay € 37 each.
I'm voting, but there's no way it's appearing here... FarSight have mentioned that as a part of their licensing contract, all tables *must* have DRM... and GOG am DRM-free.
Please, please make this happen. I've got a pinball machine cabinet just waiting for this.
Maybe they'll be able to make table packs, each pack with two or four tables and each one you buy - can be installed as a stand alone game? just an idea :)
Only question is: How would the table DLC work?
Please, pick this up.
GOG should pick it up regardless of if it's on Steam or not. I use both services, but I do prefer GOG. How can you not like GOG? :)
There are already several good pinball games on GoG so this website will be a good fit for TPA. Steam doesn't seem to have any faith in TPA!
I need to get my pinball fix somehow. Why does Steam gotta let me down!? :(
They should just pick it up regardless. The hell with Steam. Especially if they want to support a pincab configuration, I would want to always have mine offline running as few services as possible anyway.
Yeah if steam will not put it up on their store. GOG should pick it up!
