Insta-buy once it hits the store. Right now it's only $4.99 on Steam. I'm not buying it because I want the DRM-Free version. Come on GOG, if it belongs anywhere it's here. Also, the Steam version doesn't come with the Construction Set. So this one better have it. This is my favourite game of all time and I seriously want a DRM-Free version. So much nostalgia in this title.
I demand this game!
Ah, the nostalgia. I'd buy/gift this x10 if it ever happened.
As soon as you add this to the store gog guys, I'm buying. Please, add it ASAP. One of the best PC games ever made.
If you want, you can show support for a GOG release on the Bethesda forum - http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1502630-please-bring-the-fallout-games-bethesdid-games-to-gogcom/
Voted +1 Best game ever, WANT! :)
Easily one of my favourite TeS games. Would love to see it available on here,
It's a truly good old game. Come on, GOG, make it happen. I don't want to buy it with DRM.
Well, mod compatibility is a high priority for the OpenMW team. It works well with a good range of mods already.
Not sure how well current and old mods will work with OpenMW. To be honest I have to wonder whether or not it will even make sense using it at all when so many mods are now so complex and are designed to work around the game's limitations. While at first I got excited about the prospect of object physics and new stuff. I already can get amazing lighting and water. A ton of other junk as it stands. The only real downside to using a current resource, is the game is 32bit. It cannot use more than 3gb of ram and the fact that no matter how powerful your machine happens to be. It won't run better than how limited you mod the game. As in, the limit is how much you add to it. The more stuff you add, the lower your frames. But I have hopes that GOG will get the Bethesda games all the same =)
@jdriselvato: You can already play OpenMW on OSX. See https://openmw.org/downloads/
With OpenMW progressing towards version 1.0 (https://openmw.org) it would be very useful if GOG could offer a digital version of the original DRM-free. It would save one buying the CD to play the OpenMW.
please add Morrowind in the store,i'd like to play this game.
The only Elder Scrolls missing fro my collection, and it would be great if it could show up on here.
Let me also praise Morrowind's celestial soundtrack (it would be an awesome bonus). Made by Jeremy Soule, a legendary composer of videogame music (eg. Neverwinter Nights, Dungeon Siege and many other soundtracks): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Soule
"Die, fetcher!" is a quote that made history. I'll never forget that game. Fun, with an epic plot, ultra-moddable, and aesthetically awesome (especially thanks to its dedicated modders). The modded/enhanced GOTY edition can still put quite a few games to shame today. A downloadable version would be a dream.
This should definitely be part of the GOG library.
Would happen at the same time this came to OSX. ha.
The Elder Scrolls series peaked with this game, and every game since has been a very pretty, graphically advanced, disappointment. I own the game on disk, and I would gladly buy it again for DRM-Freeness.
It fits. Its "good" and "old". Id like to see the entire series up on GOG (Excluding the newer Oblivion and Skyrim). The problem is though, Bethesda absolutely hates piracy, and having a no DRM release of these titles would make it easier to share.
This site isn't "gold old games" anymore, it's just the word GOG now. It changed a couple years ago.
This ain't even a good old game... this is a GAME OF THE *** YEAR old game, add this now! (I know it's never gonna happen though sigh)
"You are bittergreen green, outlanders!" Give us the Neverarine's adventure, the best game Bethesda ever created!
Zenimax should do it! Just to sell this game once more :)
GOG is Good Old Games. Morrowind - Good game 2002 - Old. So whats problem?
Vote to get Bethesda/Zenimax games onto GOG here. http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/strike_a_deal_w_zenimax_media_inc
NOT happening, ever. Can this and ALL other Bethesda/Zenimax wishlist requests please be removed.
Will it be here anytime soon? We shall see. But that is, after all, a GOOD OLD game.
I really want this game. Back then my computer wasn't able to handle it. The distance fog started about 5m in front of me.
i never understood how this game got game of the year. It has to be modded in order to make it playable and the world is a cut and paste fest. Same rock over and over again. Saying that it was a decent game but, returning to it, it is awful! LIke 'bash your head against the screen' awful. The only thing it has going for it is the fact it doesn't spoon feed you the quests!
I rly don´t know why so much games are on the list who are still avaible about pages like amazon or some legal download portal´s like gamesrocket etc. That´s time wasting!
Never gonna happen. Because Bethsheda is still making money of it
One of my favorite games and probably one of the best RPGs, if not games, ever made. GOG totally needs to get this.
See what happens with the Fallout games post December 30th (when Interplay's agreement to sell them expires). That'll inform you a bit about Bethesda's approach.
What the heck with all this steam fanboys? If we request this amazing game in GOG its because we want it here. Otherwise we'll make a Steam account and buy it there and no request it here... damn!
I have that game in original release, GOTY (in two languages) and Collector's Edition. I have it in the Elder Scrolls Anthology. I have it on Steam (bundled with the Skyrim Steam key of the anthology). I even have it as a game magazine bonus bundle. If it got on GOG, I'd have it on GOG too. That game deserves it. And GOG deserves it.
well .. The elderscroll Anthology is coming ... If you really love video games, you sure will buy a physical copy of this saga...
You know guys, morrowind IS running on windows 7/8 Go buy it on steam or something...
There is on Steam.
I want this to be on gog.
This would be a instant buy for me great game i would love to have goty with out the cd is needed to play drm
Steam has this but I am not going to buy it from them because of the DRM thing. please get this game if it doesn't cost you too much.
At this rate we may as well wait for 2014 or 2024 and see if Bethesda decides to release morrowind, battlespire, and redguard for free on the 20th and 30th anniversaries too.
I'd love this! No Steam shackles and a great game!
Make it happen. The DRM-laden Steam option is no option at all.
I'm awaiting to see this game here. One day. So I can finally play it.
This MASTERPIECE would be a no-brainer for GOG to add to its catalogue.
Great game... Bring it GOG if you can. Must Include the level editor as well.
Arghm make it happen already, I want to play the English version finally :) ;)
