Saamat Well I wrote 6, 5 years ago that I'd gladly pay for a legitimate copy of STTNG AFU. Having bought and played a few other ST titles thins haasn't changed. In fact it made me crave for STTNG AFU even more.

sivaseth To add to this further, there are other Atari games on here so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to get the Star Trek games? Presumably Paramount has no issue with Trek games being on here since the InterPlay developed titles are here too. So maybe it is just a matter of getting all three parties talking (GOG, Atari, Paramount) in order to release this game?
sivaseth Okay, I was trying to figure out why this game has not been released yet even though we have other Star Trek games on here.The other games were made by InterPlay and this game was created by Spectrum Holobyte. This company bought MicroProse an then all products were listed under the MicroProse banner. Spectrum Holobyte/MicroProse then merged with Hasbro Interactive. Then the company became Infogrames Interactive. And then it became Atari Interactive. So we need to bug Atari (and possibly Paramount, the current owners of Star Trek) about releasing this game as well as Birth Of The Federation

I just want a fully working version without all the hassle with doing dos box and copying past and when i get the game working its all a messed up. jcullenjr Hey everyone.. I see lots of comments/love for ST:AFU. Just FYI it is dirt simple to get this running in Dos box - I have done it on Windows and Linux but not Mac. Right now this game is considered "abandonedware" so you can search-engine for the .iso file (an image of the original cd rom). After you install Dos box (free download) you can search-engine the commands for mounting the iso as the cdrom drive from perspective of dos (command is 'imgmount'). This will allow you to install and run the game as if you had an old-school ms-dos computer at that point. It is fun and rewarding. I am playing myself right now... having trouble getting past a particularly difficult romulan warbird though :)

Please can we have a GOG-stamped one to make it shiny once again?
