##@@##@@ At one point in time (around 2072) this game might come out as a full release. When it 'does', this wish might get my vote.
Until then I think it's fair to say that everyone who wants to play the game 'in its current form' (and has the money to buy a copy) already owns the game.

Geraldine I guess it's possible, so yea it gets my vote, although I already backed the game it would still be a big coup for GOG to get this. I've no idea though if CIG has an opinion on DRM as most of the game is aimed at being online anyways. The single player Squadron 42 though might stand a better chance? Who can say, it's still very early days for this game.

skeecher Still 2-3 years away, if that. They're in no rush, why should they be? Their business model right now seems to be just wringing out as much money as they can from their sheepish backers with neverending ship sales whilst keeping them happy with half-arsed modules. I think that's probably why Eric Peterson left, because even he saw that the plan had gone astray. CIG and Chris Roberts are in no rush to complete the game because they're onto a good money-spinner with digital asset sales. It's a gift that keeps on giving for them. But, there will come a time when even the patience of their loyal band of followers will be tested. So if you've bought into it, I'd advise getting a refund before the shit really does hit the fan.

NetAndy I hope that Star Citizen will be realesed without DRM and GOG would make perfect sense for me because I bought so many games here already:) I have nothing but troubles with DRM including Steam so I would really welcome gog version:)

Charza Kick ass independent game. We as PC gamers need to support this ! GOG would be ideal for this release. No DRM means cleaner games that perform better. Hope to see it here !
DebianLinuxero This new game would be great. But been distributed by Steam (with its DRM) would be a shit. Only GoG could save us from the dark side of game distribution.
