rhartness Holy cow! I had no clue that this was the first game created by the guy who made James Schmalz--the guy who later provided us with Unreal, as well as the modern Unreal Engine! Yes, we definitely need this game for historical reasons!

NFULFX I was playing Jill of the Jungle and the music is very reminiscent of the music in Solar Winds. I'm on board as well.

Malorion Should include Eps 1(The Escape) and 2 (Galaxy/Universe). I've got the shareware versions, I'd love to have the full versions although I'm not sure if there's a difference?

travists Shareware should be easy enough to find, and runs well under Dosbox with no special settings. Love to get my hands on Solar2

vigilante1 Atmospheric, strong plot and with some neat power management stuff, and being a 2d DOS game it should be pretty painless to get it running. But as I recall it was pretty short and lacked replay value. They should add this but I think it should probably be bundled with some other Epic (Mega)games.

drhoads Can't find this game anywhere. I think other people may be selling the demo, no way to tell. Always wanted to beat this game (could not afford the full game back in the day). Hope it comes to GOG someday.
JusticeJP Someone (on gog's side) needs to consolidate the wish lists (there is an additional Solar Winds by Epic in the list) and throw Solar Winds II in the consolidation. Those two games were magnificent fun as I recall. I check back with gog every few months just to see if they've stocked it. I can't imagine that it will just be a matter of time before you do, as this was a popular old stand-by in its day. Gog, please bring this back!
