Igraine Thank you, GOG. The slightly more up-to-date version (yay for repeating trades when brokering techs), game music and working multiplayer convinced me to play this version rather than my old Loki Games gnu/linux port. The even better news? works perfectly on wine.

fixx420 If you search, most of the content in AC is available through fan-made user mods. May take me a few weeks to get to it, but if someone has an idea of where i can post them, i believe i still have many of the mod packs.

rymorp I just bought SMAC a few days ago. I never played a game like this, and really didn't know what to expect. The only thing I can say is wow, I'm hooked. Once Alien Crossfire becomes available, I will buy it right away.

catabuca It's such a shame Alien Crossfire isn't available here. I bought the base game from GOG, but I have so many happy memories of playing Alien Crossfire back in the day, it became hard to imagine playing without it. It added so much to the game. It would indeed be an instant purchase for me if you were to ever bring it to the store. Go on GOG, show us how awesome you are!
