seikus I don´t think it´s fair to suffer see how our reputation it´s harm from people who doesn´t have the nerve to face you. If you do something like this do it showing yourself. There is some people who is taking advantaage of this just because they know nothing it´s going to happen to them.
Sn0wGl0be Good idea. It would make people think twice. Some people only want to tear down those they disagree, and faceless "reputation" points is one way to do that.
One's posts and threads shouldn't be 'hidden' and given a false impression because certain people are knee-jerk arseholes.
DyNaer Just a terrible idea : that would poses some issues in the forum : users will fight each other. Would be better if this option would be only visible by GOG's staff members => which could give some insights about who abusing this system . Or get rid of this stupid function which is broken.... Still voted if only visible by staff members , otherwise a big NO.
dick1982 i dunno. it seems pretty effective against bots and spammers. and many of those with negative rep. purposely tell people to downvote them.

Riotact On the Beamdog forum (BG:EE etc.) you can see who clicked anything affecting you, so there are options, like maybe use a new type of forum.

advancedhero I'm been thinking this for a while now. I think it would resolve a lot of our petty little GOG fights over down-repping gifting forums if we just talked it through. I don't know how this would actually work, or how effective it would be, but I agree with you.
