kassj0peja In the survey it is only possible to choose a PS4 or a Steam version. No GOG unfortunately.
Hakuso3 We have a MUCh better chance of seeing this than we do of getting 1 & 2 here.
I'd love to have all three but, due to the first two being published by Sega, I think it'll be Dreamcast emulation rather than a functional PC port even in Steam, let alone a GOG release.
kassj0peja Deep Silver will be the global publisher of Shenmue III and since they release some of their games on GOG there is a chance that we will get it here

BionicBull I hope they include the first two prequels. I never finished them on the Dreamcast because they were so huge. Now I have some time to be able to play them and the 3rd installment.

GOG did emulation with dosbox, and dreamcast emulators are pretty good (and open software), imagine a shenmue I and II working with just a few clicks !!!

The first Shenmue came out same time as GTA 2 , the difference was huge , Shenmue helped these games to became what they are now , but now GTA is huge and one very profitable game , now we need help , those who loved Shenmue and those who want to say thanks to Shenmue come to kickstarter and help us ,we are only trying to archive 5% of what GTA v spent . thanks let the saga continue

neilwhit Come on I think Sony and any other funders want to make sure that the fans and gamers want the game as much as they have been asking for years by putting money where your mouth is. I don't mind this as it drums more funding for the game and shows we do really want Shenmue 3. Plus we don't know how much funding from Sony its getting. After 14 years for this I think its worth funding. So lets stop moaning about funding that's not fully understood and be happy that Shenmue 3 is coming. Get behind Shenmue 3. Put it this way after been a fan from day one I would even swap consoles if needed to get this game and I'm not well off with money. Come on lets do this together and make something outstanding together.

Vainamoinen Yes, it worked for Bloodstained, but Sony is in the financial/legal boat for Shenmue 3. So, essentially, forget about it. And I see no reason whatsoever to throw money at a Sony Kickstarter.
