I actually have the CD of the game and love it - it still plays fine in Windows 8 (although sometimes the sound goes out) ...

Yes, I played the demo level of this to death as a kid. Loved the scary heavy footsteps, searching out power ups and laying traps (viper nest inside the pyramid, anyone) The tower system and power countdown were great! I Remember frantically trying to search out and destroy towers just as time was about to expire, the music used to go crazy as time ran down, great tension! Many happy hours wasted!!

Really a great old game that had lots of potential! I enjoyed playing as a kid and the atmosphere & the sound effects hold up very well to this day in my opinion.

I suppose they didn't do a very good job of marketing this gem because I've never seen a retail copy of it ever - and it seems that I'm basically one of the only people who's ever played it - nevertheless this is a real gem and deserve to be on GOG.com

Does anybody else remember this game? I loved it and would be very, very happy to play it again. One of the most unusual mech games I've ever played - with a brilliant and strange atmosphere to boot. Shame it isn't better known!
