In germany Risen was released as a "PC Games Sonderheft", without DRM!
6,99 Euro for a great game! :-)

As for myself, risen was best non-gothic gothic game
i takes gameplay and graphics from gothic 3 and story, classes and island-like-map from gothic 2, what could you ever need more?

Pretty sure this title will come in the future. I am resisting to buy it on Steam for that very reason.
