Project Zomboid in progress
FYI game is in the store. THANKS GOG!
@Peetfighter: If I had to guess I would say that either GOG's people are still talking to The Indie Stone's people; The Indie Stone is still working on a GOG version of the game; or Java malfunctioned again and everyone in The Indie Stone's offices got killed in "one of those typical Java accidents".
Why is this still labeled as In Progress?
I'll be the first to say it? Wish granted!
@EnigmaGrey Thanks, great to know.
Great game. I'd buy it again if it was released here.
@ Taran0 The game is DRM free; Its Steam componetns can be disabled.
Would definitely buy if it were DRM-free.
SZeem good... Only english .?
good game hope to see it here soon.
PZ would be an awesome no-brainer to me... err...
hey that pun wasn't intended ;)P
Hope to see this on GOG!
Voted
I'm surprised this game is not on GOG already.
Hey Guys This game is Amazing Vote please !!! THANK YOU
I'd definetely love to see such a gem here on gog.com - I'm watching its developing progress for over a year now and damn... these guys rock. Besides the community is awesome. A must-have over here!
Please release it on GOG. It's a good game and fits to this because its DRM free.
Yes, please! Bring Zomboid to GoG.
Hope this comes to GOG. More exposure is always good, and the devs are really committed to improving the game. It's come a long way since I first played it in 2011.
Yeah I bought this game a long while back, the devs have been pretty commited to making a great game and PZ's pretty damn entertaining. It'd be happy here on gog
It would be lovely for GOG to support this; I've had problems with playing the game (I just suck at the combat aspect) but it seems a good fit for GOG in general.
Slamming my vote down, for the love of all two things that are PZ and GoG.. I lurk the forums in general silence (lucky you, community!), and yes, it is far from done and the game's developers have slogged through miles of intestines working out kinks, and they'll slog miles more if need be :) Great game, currently there is enough content to seem like a full game anyway, and will be wildly improved by its completion. (Besides the community is already fairly active with modding). Some comments below state that the devs aren't active, or don't care about bughunting or whatever.. Go to the forums and see for yourself :) proof in the pudding and the pudding is free for.. proof! Either way, the final scope of the game is large so don't expect a "finished project" to autopoof out of a hat, this one must sit inside the hat, marinate in bugfixes and updates and feature testing, and uh.. sit in the hat.. And the soup is called patience, Gene Wilder! That's of a subpar sandwiched stegosaurs? .. Now I'm really just rambling and breaking down into my logical interpretation of nonsense :) I'll quit.. Vote slammed (like Pogs).
One of the most fun games I've played in the past year. The developers are committed to delivering the most in depth zombie apocalypse simulator around, and that commitment shows in the game.
Also, the newly implemented splitscreen co-op is fantastic. The developers seem like really nice people, and the extra exposure by having their game on GOG.com could only be a good thing.
I'd love to buy it on gog - the devs've said that they'd like to release it on gog, so I guess the ball is in gog's court.
However, the fact that the game is not completed may be a problem, and now that I think about it, I regret that I've voted in the survay against putting incomplete games on gog - this is one game that could be an exception.
Best survival game, I've EVER played :D Needs to be on here!
Yes please!
This is a must!
Please add this game! Wonderful game and great devs!
what would make this an even better marriage, Bitcoin for payments!!!!
The Devs for this game are very honest about what they want in PJZ and hate DRM
That right there should be enough to get them on gog
I never saw this coming, but Project Zomboid is fantastic and so are the devs. I'm all for this mix between you two.
Even though the world may implode when two such awesome things come together... I'm all for it
Yes please! Wonderful game! I know a few friends who would buy it if it was on gog.com
Even though this game's far from finished content wise I still love playing it, simply cannot wait until I can buy it again from here for myself , and a friend for good old co-op fun.
Excellent Game! It's only in Alpha and I feel like I've been playing a full, polished game.
Probably THE best game purchase I've made in years. I've seriously had more fun with this game, and put more hours into it that any of the AAA titles I own. The devs are great, with constant updates and interaction with the community. Would be a fantastic addition to GoG's catalogue.
As much as I love the whole zombie genre I wont be getting this game as it runs on Java (far too many vulnerabilities etc)
The trolls march on.
Excelent!!! i bouthg in desura... and when it released here in gog.. i bougth one copy too!! excelent site gog! supporting the best old games ever! to much memories!
Right on Taragash!
The most amazing Build 9 or 2.0q/5 or 2.57.359 or alpha 2552xdc or what ever they call it this week is absolutely not a perpetual one build to rule them all that was promised and not delivered for the past *SEVERAL YEARS*.
Anyone stating in contrary must be clueless and simply hating on them poor indies!
In my opinion, The Indie Stone is doing a very good Job keeping the community and the game itself up to date.
The devs communicate over weekly Blog posts, Twitter, the official forums, Podcasts Q&A's, they will be at the Rezzed Indie show this month and are present in a lot of Livestreams (Twitch) and answer question thath people might have.
Some of you shoul take a peek at official forum threads, like: "UPCOMING: Build 9", you will be suprised how much they fixed and added in just 2-3 weeks time - This is game development how it should be done!
My vote for Project Zomboid @ GoG
'dThunder' entitled to your opinion, but naming yourself after one of our mods who undoubtedly doesn't share this opinion is not cool at all.
I've been following PZ for more than a year now. I've been longing for years for a good ol' isometric 3D rpg, and it's about survival in a zombie apocalyspe... what could I ask more ?
I've truely never been that hyped for a game in development. dThuner sounds clueless, the devs are passionate and hardworking.
Just brilliant!
This game has been in perpetual alpha for the past few years, and it shows zero signs of any progress.
Rather, they keep juggling those few features on and off between the so called "new versions."
From fraudulent business practices, rampart censoring, continual lack of basic debugging let alone new content, offering this game as a "good old game" would only serve to defraud gog brand and its supporters.
Eh, if he thinks it's not going to happen in the end, let it be.
Yes Joe, you are right, the game that I can play right now, and have been receiving constant updates for from the devs for oh, I dont know the past year, is in fact vaporware. Thanks for opening my eyes, I also just realized that Deus Ex HR never came out, and the latest Duke Nukem was amazing. On Topic, this game is awesome, the devs already added local coop and joystick support. Cannot wait for more, and it definitely deserves to be on here.
This game is awesome, it does deserve to be on this site.
Joe...stfu, they have done multiple new releases recently.
This game is vaporware of the worst kind, it does NOT deserve to be on gog.
