http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_Dragoon_SagaThe super rare Sega Saturn Panzer Dragoon RPG....yeah that's right they made a Panzer Dragoon game that wasn't a railshooter, but an RPG! Make this happen!
This would be really cool. The only problem I see however is the fact that this version was Sega Saturn exclusive to my knowledge, and hasn't gotten a PC Port.
Panzer Dragoon series revival petition website: http://www.panzerdragoonrevival.com/en I wrote to the administrators of the site. They intend to present this petition to Sega once they have at least a thousand signatures. They are very close to it now and I myself just left one.
I'd love to see this as well, but considering sega lost the source code to this game (how exactly do you manage to do that anyway?) i doubt one will be released. but you never know....
SEGA has been good to the PC for years and is getting better all of the time. After stuff like NiGHTs into dreams... HD SEGA should definitely do this.
I would love to see this on GOG. Not gonna lie though, this is about as likely as Sega themselves returning to the console hardware business.
Awesome rpg but i guess it's up do Sega.
While I still have my original copy of the fantastic Panzer Dragoon Saga, I would love to have it on modern platform.
@DraculaMarth It may be possible to package the game together with a Sega Saturn emulator such as SSF or Yabause which both continue to make progress. There's some information about Panzer Dragoon Saga emulation available in this topic: http://forums.thewilloftheancients.com/viewtopic.php?t=3651
I would love to see all the games in this series playable on a pc. Orta is one of maybe a handful of reasons for me to even turn on my Xbox most everything it has to offer is already on the PC.
Sorry to disappoint you, but they literally cannot port this game. Much of the source code has been lost to the game and seeing as how Orta tanked commercially, I think Sega's done with this series, so a remake is unlikely.
