Mickers Looks like Myst III and Myst IV will be available soon (August?) on GOG. There was a kickstarter campaign to release all Myst games. In FAQ, there is a question that asks"Will all of the updated Myst games be available on places like <a href="http://GOG.com?"" class="light_un" target="_blank">GOG.com?"</a> and answer "Yes. While the exclusive packaging of the games in the Myst Book, and Gehn's pen and ink well will only be available through this Kickstarter campaign, the games themselves will be updated and available at various digital download locations, starting with GOG.com."

Lissens Hey, I found this: www.old-games.com/download/9391/myst-iv-revelation You need 2 dvd-R and (IMPORTANT) follow the instructions to install and run the game, you need to copy and past some fils from the dvd. The game runs fine on Windows 10

oldgamebuff42 Would love to see this on GOG, not least because the disc version of MYST IV has problems working on Windows 7 from what I've heard, and I don't want to try a windows XP emulator.

catkcrl I'd love to see Myst IV be added to GOG. I have all the versions of Myst loaded and working but that one. I've got the DVDs but I can't get them to load, even on a Windows XP virtual machine. Windows 7 Pro won't even read them. Please, GOG. I'd love to complete my collection and this is one I've never been able to play.
horstfreigang Just tweeted to Ubisoft and and asked them if there is a chance for Myst 3 und Myst 4 on GOG. Maybe you should do the same, so they know that there is a demand.

skeletonbow GOG can't magically pick and choose games they want and suddenly they appear here. In order for a game to come to GOG, the publisher of the game has to want to sell it on GOG in the first place. It's not as if GOG has never contacted Ubisoft about this. This is in Ubisoft's hands to decide if they want to sell it here, and if they offer it up for grabs I'm sure GOG would jump on it in a heartbeat. If people want to be upset about it, be upset with Ubisoft with where the decision lay as to why the game is not here.
Erasmus00 With windows 10, I've hit the point where my old DVDs no longer work (something with the old copy protection?), and this is probably my last computer with a dvd drive. Would absolutely love a digital version of this that worked on win10.

I get the rights issues, but this has been ongoing request from users for years now... seems there should be some way to work out a compromise to sell the game here just as the others have been.
sreamer17ydr The Myst series is amazing! I have RealMyst, Riven, Myst 3 Exile and Myst 4: Revelations. I bought the DVD version of Revelations that included a DVD form of Exile. They run great.
Revelations is an amazing game visually, sound wise, and puzzles are hard. I love all the games, but I do like Exile and Riven the best, and this game is a close second to tie.

SeismicSound WOOPS!, forgot to mention in previous.... you must install Myst IV with COMPLETE option, AND.... compatibility mode set to XP (service pack 2). Sorry.
SeismicSound The most enjoyable of the Myst series is Riven, Exile, and End of Ages due to overall simplicity. Myst IV Revelation is the most difficult.
However....
Myst IV is entertaining and should be included.
Myst III is tons of fun and quite possibly the best of the series in many eyes.
When all is said and done, no Myst game collection is complete without these games.

I have these two missing games on disc and play them without problem in Windows 7 Pro and of course Mac.
This probably why they were not included here on GOG.
Myst III Exile plays in windows without disc by using a mounted ISO created from the installer disc.
Myst IV revelation also plays without disc from an ISO, BUT.... the original disc MUST be in the DVD drive to get the game started with the ISO mounted.
Once started, you simply eject the disc and the game switches to the mounted ISO.
In the case of OSX, making a disc image .dmg or. iso child's play.
Windows 7 on the other hand makes this impossible without some help from third party software.
This is what you Windows users require.
Search for wincdemu sysprogs org for a free ISO creator and mounter.
Alternatively, a paid full feature program is located at DAEMON Tools Pro at Disk-Tools.
I tried both, both work just fine but DTPro is far more comprehensive.
Neither one will make an exact copt of Myst IV install discs due to copy protection but will function as described above.
Before you begin.... you need to update Myst IV.
Install these patches in their ORDER.
myst4_v1.0_to_v1.01_us_pc
myst4_v1.00_to_v1.02_pc
myst4_v1.0_to_v1.03_pc
These Myst IV patches can be found on the web.
Myst III runs just fine as is.

selbie This game is the best Myst of all. Wonderful story, challenging puzzles with hints that give you enough room to figure it out for yourself, and an excellent fusion of FMV and pre-rendered animated scenery. The sound effects are also superb and the music is very atmospheric - including a track from Peter Gabriel!
Aguilden I just want to add my vote to this. Myst was the first adventure/puzzle game I ever played and it turned me into a life-long fan, of the series and the genre. But I have never been able to play Myst IV: Revelation because it isn't available anywhere (other than overpriced collectible copies).
tmturbo I just downloaded all you had available for the Myst Series. As excited as I am to play what I have, it just isn't complete without Exile and Revelations. 2 of the best!! Games like this are so rare anymore. My kids now what to play them with me. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

LeonardoCornejo Pleas, put this game on GOG. It is the only Myst Game I have not played. This game is not available at all. I am facing the need to look for a pirate copy (Which is also hard to find) because no online platform has this game and physical copies are either too expensive or damaged.
As far as I remember one of GOG's goals was reducig piracy by making games easy to acquire. Well, this is a serious case.
Even if i get a pirate version I promise I will buy the game as soon as it gets to GOG.
sreamer17ydr Got my vote, like Myst 3! I understand why they don't have them, due to Cyan not owning rights, but Ubisoft and Presto do, but Presto is no more, and GOG does deal with Ubisoft and Cyan, so hopefully, soon, both Myst 3 and 4 will be put on here
