This is a REAL Good old game (Not that GoG dosn't carry good old games mind you), and really belongs on this magnificent site. Along with the Crusade, Full Throttle, and probably every other gem from the golden eara of point and click adventure games.

Would love to replay this game. I remember playing it up to a point where it bugged out on me and I couldn't progress any further.

Not tested (as I dont own the steam version)
http://koti.kapsi.fi/~jvaltane/SteamLucasToScummVM/indy4.txt

I think there also is a windows binary for dd, this essentially lets one use the steam versions files within scummvm (and therefore all scumm based music options!)

I already own this on Steam, but I would buy it again if the GOG version would allow for different sound options. The Steam version is fine, really, but this was a childhood favorite, and the soundtrack was lower quality than what I remembered from the CD-ROM version. At least the voices were intact.

Small spoiler coming, please forgive me... I remember the "fists vs/German machine gun" fight in the desert... "Indy's overly reckless behavior won Rolf a medal for bravery." I mean, how could you NOT love this magnificent point-and-click adventure, perfectly mixing humour and tragedy?

I hear there's a version with 'enhanced audio/voices' and that sounds like something of a bonus if the game is offered.

Simply the BEST point&click adventure! (this should have been the real fourth indy movie plot).
Please add the original version, not only the ScummVM one! Dosbox can play it perfectly alone.

This is an excellent game. It is available on Steam, but only the Windows version, so it's a bit complicated to install it in Linux. It would be great to be able to get it here.

I played snippet of this game back in days. It appreciates the spirit of Indie movies, good exploration and very funny. I'd love to play this in full!

This would seem like an easy get for GOG. It's on steam, and I believe it was released with the Wii game. I'd much rather get it here than steam. I guess now they have to go to Disney for this stuff so we'll see

This game is great for replay, because ALL events have THREE (3) possible outcomes and it greatly alters the storyline!!!

LucasArts stuff is available on Steam. I had to pay 5 bucks to get it from them instead of buying it from my preferred site, GOG. Knowing how George Lucas and Disney protect their IP, I can imagine this one won't be coming to GOG anytime soon. Gabe Newell is a bitch.

I second the first commenter here. I already have the Steam version, but I'd gladly buy a GoG one if it had better music quality.

This game is a must, the humour of the movies was so well captured! Never mind the spoken dialog though, there is but one REAL indy. ^_^

I have to agree with Geraldine. This story would have been vastly better than that Crystal Skull nonsense. This is, in its way, probably the best Indiana Jones game made so far. It's a natural for GOG, and I'll add my voice to those saying they'd rather buy it here.

This for me is the best ever Lucas Arts Adventure. They were all good of course, but this one is great- 3 different ways to complete it, plus its Indi! \O/ If you can only get one of these games GOG, please make it this one. When the 4th Indi movie came out, I was soooooooooooooo disappointed it was not based on this game. To late now, to late..................... :(

I got it on Steam when they were having a sale. Same with X-Com. I'd buy both again though if they were DRM free.

I think it should specifically be the ScummVM-compatible version. The versions of this and Last Crusade they put on Steam don't have the ability to select sound output type. So you're stuck listening to a god-awful version of what is a pretty classic soundtrack.
