lowyhong Grid Cartographer started off as a simple program to create maps in games, such as the early Wizardry and Might & Magic titles. It has since evolved into a tool beyond an automapping functionality, incorporating features like a first-person view, user-importable tiles, theme-specific backgrounds, hex maps, etc. David has also been consistently releasing bugfixes and new features/content, so that Grid Cartographer can be compatible with as many games as possible.
Arkloyd I love having to open up Steam to load Grid Cartographer to play my games that I bought on GOG.
I'd rather just have it all in one place but life's just not fair.
Lily Pad Considering how much it links with old CRPGs, it'd be a great fit for GOG. :)

Martek GOG sells lots of old RPG's and other games for which mapping is useful but is not included in the game. Grid Cartographer is a great solution for mapping such games. It would be nice to see it on GOG under a "Utilities" section (or similar).
LonePaladin If this gains traction, it would be worth adding an option for compatible games to have an alternate set of files needed to interface with GC. That way the end-user has all the changes needed already in place.
smuphix This is a great tool for gamers but also developers - we use Grid Cartographer in development of our modern steampunk dungeon crawler - VAPORUM and it proved itself to be a really valuable tool.
Joeyboots This is an invaluable tool for modern players of classic crpgs'. It belongs on a site with literally hundreds of games this tool can be used with.
skeletonbow Even though GOG doesn't currently sell non-game software here, this would probably be a good type of app to include should they ever decide to offer software also, both for game creators and oldschool RPGers. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'd consider buying it for oldschool RPGing when I get the bug to play some. :)
