mefistotelis This game would be way more fun if it was better balanced.
I even made a save editor to nerf the computer player.
Anyway, all the issues are totally fixable - we have beta version of the game, with debug symbols (the CD image is usually named GENEWARS_BETA_5). This means the source code could be re-created, if people with skill put some time to it.

Patrol1985 A splendid RTS with some interesting and unique mechanics: cross-breeding animals, being "evaluated" by aliens (and rewarded / punished accordingly), etc. Please bring it to GOG.

genewarsfan1996 I am a long time fan of Genewars, played it when I was a child in early 2000's on an old PC with Win98. Found it online again a decade later and played with Dosbox, could not figure out how to install the patch or multiplayer.

OhMyGlob I just finished installing Win 98 on some scrap just to play GW off of my mint condition origional disk. This included rubbing alcohole on the grimy CPU fan to get it spinning and fighting with drivers for hours. This is what you have put me through GOG! I cannot get past it nagging for the fracking CD. I recall copying the disk to the drive and editing the config file, but that does not seem to work anymore. I guess you guys can't figure it out ether or you would have provided us with it by now. Right :D
